I worry about the Middle East and I hope that you can get to Egypt (and I hope that democracy gets a good start in Egypt). Please keep in touch here!!! We care about your safety.

Comment by Susan Ghailan on April 5, 2011 at 7:01pm Thank you Danielle for your care.. I actually wanted to upload all my artworks before time comes that may not allow to do so.. actually we are living hard times these days & can predict what may happen a moment ahead.. but honestly enjoying our tragedy as I believe that life is too short to live with humiliation & degradation but long to live with dignity.. but our dectators presidents & their followers think the other way around.. anyway I may not clearly express myself in words .. but in brief we have been forced to show the faked face of us as Arabs & one day the world will realize that the cost of revealing the truth is worth to take the hard path no matter what the cost is except selling our dignity..
I was planning to leave for Egypt as I am a Yemeni who is married to an Egyptian man who was exiled 34 years out of his homeland & when the time came to vist Egypt , what is going on in Yemen is putting obsticals to realize this dream (but with our will this time) ..& that's because we as human sharing the planet we also have to share the feelings..
& if u didn't hear from me for a long time pls write to me to this email suzaneel@yahoo.com or find me in any related web using the keyword suzaneel & if no reply pls pray for me..

So once i have my image printed onto transparency film, I take my Ezscreen silk screen which has been coated in light sensitive emulsion (These sheets come pre-coated so they are ready to use). Place it onto a black board, then place the transparency image on top (this part needs to be done in a dark room with no direct sunlight). I take it outside and expose it for 1 minute and 40 seconds (but time varies depending on time of day and strength of sunlight). After i have exposed the image i place it into a tub of water for around 5 - 8 minutes. Then i rinse the screen out under fast running water until the unexposed area (the black) washes away. I then expose the screen to the sun for a further 20mins to completely harden the light sensitive emulsion.
And this is the completed screen ready for printing. I simply use an old credit card to spread the ink over the screen making sure i do one complete full stroke across the screen (holding the credit card at a 45 degree angle). I immediately wash the screen out under fast flowing water and pat dry. I use fabric screen printing ink which washes out in water (which makes the process easy).

I love this product, their website is http://ezscreenprint.com/ (for full instructions and details on how to purchase this awesome product).
