it whispers from across the room.
i run. i hide. i cave.
it's conquered.

Wow Loryn, I haven't seen any of your stuff for a long time, so it seems like you have taken a huge leap from when I last saw one of your videos. Loving the texture.

I just recently built a big honkin' closet in my basement to house the screamers...naively thinking it would quiet them down if they were out of sight...i was wrong they seem to be louder now that they are out of sight! What's up with that??? Great vid Loryn you always seem to bring out something that relates to all of us and gets us thinking! (and hopefully painting :-))

Sandra..Trudy....LOVING YOU!!!!!!

Some of my paintings are growling and roaring at me. I try to quieten them by putting them in the garage but inevitably, sooner or later I have to go in there. OOOOOOO  scary! Avoidance is obviously not working for me so am going to have to get with the plan and finish them so I can let them go.

You know what I love so much about your videos, discussions etc Loryn? You talk about things that most, if not all of us face at times - life experiences and art. The other thing I love is that you don't beat about the bush - you cut through all the crap and get right to the nitty gritty!!!

Great video, great use of textures and colour!

I have a lot of whispering paintings which are slowly turning into screamers. They are like itches that you cant scratch.I love the texture you are using. It adds a new depth. You seem to be growing so fast.

HERE ARE 2 LINKS to TWO of my youtube videos talking and demonstrating about this amazing product:

So once i have my image printed onto transparency film, I take my Ezscreen silk screen which has been coated in light sensitive emulsion (These sheets come pre-coated so they are ready to use). Place it onto a black board, then place the transparency image on top (this part needs to be done in a dark room with no direct sunlight). I take it outside and expose it for 1 minute and 40 seconds (but time varies depending on time of day and strength of sunlight). After i have exposed the image i place it into a tub of water for around 5 - 8 minutes. Then i rinse the screen out under fast running water until the unexposed area (the black) washes away. I then expose the screen to the sun for a further 20mins to completely harden the light sensitive emulsion.

And this is the completed screen ready for printing.  I simply use an old credit card to spread the ink over the screen making sure i do one complete full stroke across the screen (holding the credit card at a 45 degree angle). I immediately wash the screen out under fast flowing water and pat dry. I use fabric screen printing ink which washes out in water (which makes the process easy).

I love this product, their website is http://ezscreenprint.com/ (for full instructions and details on how to purchase this awesome product).
