I am honored to be your friend - thank you. I so enjoy your wonderful work Ellinor and your beautiful and friendly country!!! When I visited there (long ago) I figured it was paradise and thought if I lived a good life, I would be reborn there when I died. Your work is uplifting and medicine for the soul.
glad to be your friend Ellinor..it must be very cold where you live. I have been watching a programme all about the viking sagas today and have started reading the Laxdaela saga
you are a very talented photographer, with a fantastic eye for colour, shapes, and composition, and i'm flattered to be asked, so of course, i'm delighted to accept!
Ellinor, thanks so much for the compliment. I'm just beginning my new book making workshops. Have you heard about them? Take a minute to go and read all about them:

sorry to answer so late but i'm about to discover my messages which i hardly ever look up!
I do use runes for the only purpose to add some graffic element to my art. It's a plain alphabet which i cut out and stencil, there is no further meaning but it would be interesting to give it some hidden meaning.I've been familiar with runes being German myself and i once played a games with tiles and it worked a bit like tarot cards which was curious and fun but like astrology, tarot,i'm not that a mystical person. How about you? I will check out how do you use them, have a great week, love,Elke
So once i have my image printed onto transparency film, I take my Ezscreen silk screen which has been coated in light sensitive emulsion (These sheets come pre-coated so they are ready to use). Place it onto a black board, then place the transparency image on top (this part needs to be done in a dark room with no direct sunlight). I take it outside and expose it for 1 minute and 40 seconds (but time varies depending on time of day and strength of sunlight). After i have exposed the image i place it into a tub of water for around 5 - 8 minutes. Then i rinse the screen out under fast running water until the unexposed area (the black) washes away. I then expose the screen to the sun for a further 20mins to completely harden the light sensitive emulsion.
And this is the completed screen ready for printing. I simply use an old credit card to spread the ink over the screen making sure i do one complete full stroke across the screen (holding the credit card at a 45 degree angle). I immediately wash the screen out under fast flowing water and pat dry. I use fabric screen printing ink which washes out in water (which makes the process easy).
