Wow, it's been awhile LMMers....so many new faces in here but glad to see a lot of familiar ones too :-) I am going to make this quick and to the point!
I am curating and international postcard exhibition in Lancaster, Pa USA at a local gallery I am a resident artist in. "Post Art for Humanity" is a benefit exhibition with 50% of each postcard sold going to the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission. I have been a long time advocate of equal rights for EVERYONE regardless of sexual orientation and/or gender identity. This is a fantastic opportunity for artists around the world to get some FREE exposure and help support a great cause! By clicking on the above link you will go directly to the event description and submission guidelines!!! I also encourage you to 'LIKE' the event fb page where all participants are asked to post pics of their submissions before mailing them in.
I really hope to see a lot of you take advantage of this opportunity and a huge, HUGE and THANK YOU to the following:
REEFER....without your consistent inspiration, influence and friendship i would never have gotten to where I am
BARFIELD....what can I say...you bring out the devil in me!!!
SEAMAN..... for the AWESOME logo design for the event.....oh and your unconditional support and love
SANDRA HENDERSON.....well for being who you are through and through
Now, go make some awesome postcard art!!!!! :-)

thanks for posting Loryn and I hope you get lots of entries... hmmm got to put my thinking cap on, I find it so hard to work at that size but will see what I can do.
HERE ARE 2 LINKS to TWO of my youtube videos talking and demonstrating about this amazing product:

So once i have my image printed onto transparency film, I take my Ezscreen silk screen which has been coated in light sensitive emulsion (These sheets come pre-coated so they are ready to use). Place it onto a black board, then place the transparency image on top (this part needs to be done in a dark room with no direct sunlight). I take it outside and expose it for 1 minute and 40 seconds (but time varies depending on time of day and strength of sunlight). After i have exposed the image i place it into a tub of water for around 5 - 8 minutes. Then i rinse the screen out under fast running water until the unexposed area (the black) washes away. I then expose the screen to the sun for a further 20mins to completely harden the light sensitive emulsion.
And this is the completed screen ready for printing. I simply use an old credit card to spread the ink over the screen making sure i do one complete full stroke across the screen (holding the credit card at a 45 degree angle). I immediately wash the screen out under fast flowing water and pat dry. I use fabric screen printing ink which washes out in water (which makes the process easy).

I love this product, their website is http://ezscreenprint.com/ (for full instructions and details on how to purchase this awesome product).
