How did you hear about Loving Mixed Media?
By chance. Got hooked after seeing his "technique of the week" on you tube.
May we all be filled with the spirit of art, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship; that we may devise curious works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass; to work in wood, and to work in canvas and in paint; to work in paper and ink and words.

i have only started to pursue music in the last few years.. my husband plays bass..i haven't had the continued discipline to seriously study ( the keyboard he bought me 3 years ago..)..maybe one day..when i'm not so on-fire about becoming more of a (visual) artist -i will have the patience and motivation to play it..
art is a very new thing in my life.. i'm loving this site..it's giving me the thrill of "meeting" others who share this passion..
if u click onto the songs i added on my page..the ones from my former cover band, "divided highway" ,feature me singing leads and my hubs on the bass..
like the saying goes.. "never is too late".. why not just get a guitar and play with it a bit when the spirit moves you ?? ..you probably a natural..and there are so many good teachers..videos..and free tutorials on youtube to inspire and school ya...
i'll be interested to know if u do...

Hey Ron....it's a BIG NOPE to your answer ;) It is a female artist and i guess you could say this style is different from what she normally does...;)
Hope all is well with you?

I was wondering the same thing. No new vids from her since the 'bashing" one Gary did on her... in retaliation for the one she did on him..

HERE ARE 2 LINKS to TWO of my youtube videos talking and demonstrating about this amazing product:

So once i have my image printed onto transparency film, I take my Ezscreen silk screen which has been coated in light sensitive emulsion (These sheets come pre-coated so they are ready to use). Place it onto a black board, then place the transparency image on top (this part needs to be done in a dark room with no direct sunlight). I take it outside and expose it for 1 minute and 40 seconds (but time varies depending on time of day and strength of sunlight). After i have exposed the image i place it into a tub of water for around 5 - 8 minutes. Then i rinse the screen out under fast running water until the unexposed area (the black) washes away. I then expose the screen to the sun for a further 20mins to completely harden the light sensitive emulsion.

And this is the completed screen ready for printing.  I simply use an old credit card to spread the ink over the screen making sure i do one complete full stroke across the screen (holding the credit card at a 45 degree angle). I immediately wash the screen out under fast flowing water and pat dry. I use fabric screen printing ink which washes out in water (which makes the process easy).

I love this product, their website is http://ezscreenprint.com/ (for full instructions and details on how to purchase this awesome product).
