I'm looking into having "business" cards made to promote my work. I've already looked into vistaprint.com, but I'm not really psyched about their selection. Any suggestions for good sites for artist business cards?

i like Moo.  http://us.moo.com/products/business-cards.html  As simple or as complex as you make them.
I love moo.com too....wonderful company, they produce wonderful work and very unusual cards...I always get compliments on them!
Steve- Vista Print with take any art you have and make one up for you- you don't have to use their templates. You can upload and they will do the rest. It isn't as cheap but they do a good job. I also like the Moo cards- they have lots of cool designs and you can upload your own art there also.
Thanks, everyone. I did check out Moo; cool stuff. I'm still fairly tech-ignorant, Stephanie; I don't have Photoshop, and I doubt my old computer could handle it--thanks for the advice, though. And, yes, Mo, I may play around with uploading my own images on Vista. Or I may just say to heck with the on-line stuff and go to my local Kinkos or Staples.
Heather, I just placed an order with Moo. Thanks for the tip...hoping for the best.

check prices but Ive used http://www.overnightprints.com/

and I liked the quality

MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO its my absolute favorite you can have many different images of your art with no added cost. They are nice heavy card stock. They come shipped in nice packaging with a neat card holder too.

RichAnt, I was drawn to MOO also by the different-images-at-no-extra-cost deal. Mine are supposed to arrive next week, and I can't wait to see the results...I just hope I wasn't a bonehead and let a spelling error or two slip by in the editing process.

Hi RichAnt, I also checked out Moo, Do they do the work or do i have to do it myself and then send it to them for printing?
My favorite is overnight prints ... but then again I also design my own out.  Just like anything else, templates only go so far. grab an art program (gimp is decent if you don't have the cash http://www.gimp.org/) throw your art into it and start throwing down some text.  there are more than enough tutorial sites and business card design sites to draw reference from.

HERE ARE 2 LINKS to TWO of my youtube videos talking and demonstrating about this amazing product:

So once i have my image printed onto transparency film, I take my Ezscreen silk screen which has been coated in light sensitive emulsion (These sheets come pre-coated so they are ready to use). Place it onto a black board, then place the transparency image on top (this part needs to be done in a dark room with no direct sunlight). I take it outside and expose it for 1 minute and 40 seconds (but time varies depending on time of day and strength of sunlight). After i have exposed the image i place it into a tub of water for around 5 - 8 minutes. Then i rinse the screen out under fast running water until the unexposed area (the black) washes away. I then expose the screen to the sun for a further 20mins to completely harden the light sensitive emulsion.

And this is the completed screen ready for printing.  I simply use an old credit card to spread the ink over the screen making sure i do one complete full stroke across the screen (holding the credit card at a 45 degree angle). I immediately wash the screen out under fast flowing water and pat dry. I use fabric screen printing ink which washes out in water (which makes the process easy).

I love this product, their website is http://ezscreenprint.com/ (for full instructions and details on how to purchase this awesome product).
